CRS is a marshaling and time control system for regularity rally competitions under the TSD format.
The system consists of a “Programmer” device through which the organizers establish the check points along the rally route with just one run of the course and download the info to the Race Control PC.
During the competition, each vehicle carries a “Recording” device that stores all the information of the course, which is downloaded to the Race Control PC after each stage and the results are produced instantly.
Each device is conveniently small (10cm x 6cm x 4cm), powered directly from the vehicle’s battery and connected to a GPS antenna on top of the vehicle.
The main benefit of the CRS System is that it requires very little dedicated personnel for its operation, reducing operative costs for the event organizers.
