FIA APPROVED

Sirius is a FIA-approved safety, tracking and communications system for Rally and Cross Country competitions. Developed with satellite and GPRS communication technology, it can operate anywhere in the world.

The Sirius devices installed in the vehicles are monitored from a PC located in Race Direction, continuously informing the location and status of each competitor. The system allows sending messages and/or Red Flag, individual or general, to the drivers in case it is necessary for any race event.

From the devices, competitors can send emergency messages in the event of an accident, indicating the characteristics (fire, medical, other), alerts for different race situations, as well as communicate with other vehicles to request overtaking or indicate slow speed. The devices have an accelerometer that, in the event of a rollover or sudden deceleration due to a crash, sends the emergency signal automatically.

Other features of the Sirius system are speed control during the reconnaissance (recce) stages when creating the route sheet, establishing virtual chicanes where the organizers consider necessary and obtaining partial times of the competition stages.

For Off-Road/Cross Country competitions, the Sirius system incorporates the entire navigation system, Way Point validation, neutralization zones and speed control.
